1. How to understand the pattern envelope
2. How to determine your size and adjust the pattern
3. Explain fabric’s selvage and crossgrain
4. How to layout the pattern on the fabric.
5. How to mark the fabric according to the pattern pieces.
6. Practice threading the bobbin and the machine
7. Practice basting
8. Practice the serger or zigzag
9. Practice the curve and clipping for the finishing
10. Practice easing

CHECKLIST demonstrate:
1. how to determine the width of the bias
2. How to sew together strips of bias
3. How to shape the bias according to your curve
4. How to sew on bias unto the neckline, or armhole or curvy hem.
5. How to mark a dart onto the fabric
6. How to sew a dart that will not look pointy
7. How to press a dart
