● How to sew on inset side pockets
● How to make a drawstring
● How to insert a drawstring
● How to take your measurements for short or pants
● How to understand the pattern envelope/ instructions.
● How to measure the length of your pants and hem the pant.

3. Explain fabric’s selvage and crossgrain
4. How to layout the pattern on the fabric.
5. How to mark the fabric according to the pattern pieces.
6. Practice threading the bobbin and the machine

10. Practice matching notches by attaching pockets
